Swiss National Day is the 1st of August. We decided to stay in Bern and take it easy. The Bundeshaus (Parliment/Congress) was open to the public, proudly displaying all the canton flags.
Moses and Andreas checking out a voting seat. Mose seems sufficiently awed.
The elevator went up the middle of the circular marble staircase. Just taking this picture made me nervous. I am terrified of heights. Mainly because I see myself falling to my death.
Moses had a great time wandering around and running through the hallways. We also got three free bars of chocolate. The Swiss definitely know how to celebrate in style.
Afterwards we went down to the pool to cool off. Moses is a very "hands on" child.
As cute as this this looks he only stayed for about 2 seconds. Mosey is a mover and a shaker. He's gotta constantly explore He can't risk something important happening while he's resting.
Happy Swiss National Day to you!
