Here in Canberra, when you have your first child, the government sets you up with other mothers in the area that have just had their first child as well. It's actually pretty cool. I have become friends with the moms in my 'mums group' and Moses has lots of little mates. Sadly, yesterday was the last time Moses and I will get to hang out with everyone. In honor of my 'american-ness' I organized a halloween play group at the local park. I had a great time. I'm really going to miss all these women and their bubs. It always surprises me when all the sudden I feel "at home" in a new place without even meaning to. We were only here for 10 months- I didn't expect to settle in and makes lots of friends but I'm so happy I did.
Apparently Moses has developed feelings for the girl on his right. He loves to push over other kids. It's his way of showing he cares. Luckily this little lady can push back : )
My super adorable little pumpkin. At first Andreas made fun of me for buying him a costume (halloween isn't really a thing in Australia) but I'm so glad I did! Doesn't he just look delicious? I don't know how but that hat stayed on for ages.

The idea of getting moms together is a great one!
My kids were looking at pictures from when they were babies and Nate was a baby. Aspen commented that Isaac looked like Nate as a baby. I wasn't sure so I looked too. It came to me that Moses looks a lot like Isaac did when he was a baby. I'll have to find pics to show you. ANyway, Moses is adorable in his costume. I was wondering if you would do his "first" halloween or not. I'm glad you did. He is adorable!
I like that there are so many pumpkins! And you know what pumpkins remind me of ... pumpkin cookies! But back to Moses, very cute in his first Halloween costume of the year. I think he should dress up every year. Sure, Swiss kids at school may think it's weird but that's something he's just going to have to risk :).
