Moses Roar Psota was born on the 11th of March around 2 pm (only 13 days overdue but well worth the wait I feel). He weighed in just over 4.15 kilos (about 9 lbs) and has terribly long legs which he definitely gets from his pops.
Unfortunately he was not breathing and had a very faint slow heartbeat when he was born. Within seconds my doctor was performing CPR and had intubated him. His heartbeat quickly resumed its proper rhythm and Moses started breathing on his own within 15 minutes. However, the doctors are worried because his brain was without oxygen for several minutes. Moses and I were transfered to a higher care hospital where he's the largest baby in the NICU for now. They are watching for signs of brain swelling and seizure activity. So far so good though. All signs point to a full recovery at this point.
Please keep our beautiful baby in your thoughts and prayers.
