I feel like this title is a bit misleading. I am actually usually quite productive. I clean the house, do laundry, go to the park, go running, read to Moses, cook dinner.... But I do all that stuff every day. Its boring. By the time Moses is in bed I'm exhausted. The thought of doing anything else exhausts me even more. But if I make myself actually do something, instead of lay in bed and reading or watching a show, I like it in the end. Case in point- monkeys pants.
I made Mosey and his cousins matching pants for Christmas. My mom helped me cut them out (sans pattern) when she was here. She is a sewing genius. Granted there was a slight waist band fiasco but all in all I was pretty excited about how they turned out. I like doing stuff like this but actually starting sewing projects takes a level of motivation that I usually don't have.
Andreas liked them so much that he asked for his own pair and I cut them out (also sans pattern) and sewed them up all by myself. I think this was the first sewing project that I've done from start to finish all by myself. Its about time- I'm almost 30 for heavens sakes.
Also, sadly my sewing machine is now officially dead. I guess I can justify being lazy just a little bit longer after all.

I started sewing seriously when Bonny was a little girl - I still enjoy it, but only with projects of my choosing - if I have to do something, I just don't seem to enjoy it!!
