The finished pumpkins. Hannah's is the 3rd from the left. Like I said, it turned out to be my fav. Andreas' (the first one on the left) had two sides which is probably why it took him the the same amount of time to carve as it took me to carve the other three. Also, the pumpkins are still on the balcony looking sad and dejected. I really should throw them away. Last week Mose and I were out there chilling and he started chewing on the lids. At first I tried to stop him but then I figured....hey, its a vegetable right?
A man in our ward works at the Embassy and his wife invited Moses and I to a party there. I was pretty excited about it because the previous plan was to dress Moses up in his costume and take pictures and that was about all. Halloween isn't such a big deal in Switzerland. I tried to take a picture at home. Moses does not stand still. At all. I have about 10 shots just like the one above. A blurry skeleton is scarier right? Thanks Betsy for the cute pjs/costume.
At the party we finally managed to get him to stand still. At first he was pretty shy and wanted to stick close by so I used that to my advantage.
Notice his awesome mullet. I can't bare to cut off the curls, at least not yet.
but soon enough he was off and exploring (and lovin' the giant plastic bugs).
Side note: It was weird to be at an Embassy and not be working there. As surprising as it sounds I miss it these days. I don't think I'd mind going back too much.

My kids were basically afraid of Halloween and costumes - my two oldest anyway - it wasn't until school started for Bonny that they caught on - I guess our ward didn't have a Halloween party. Moses looks very cute - and his mullet is cute too!!
