So yesterday I went to the zoo with some of my friends from mums group.
A zookeeper was taking some dingos out for a walk and we all stopped to say hi. Moses loved it! And the dingo didn't seem to mind him trying to pull out his fur.
We saw lots of indigenous animals. The koalas were my fav. This one was asleep- with his nose between a branch- awesome.
Some kangaroos and a wallaby.
Just a couple of emus. They were wandering about. It was a little freaky to walk past them. I was secretly praying they wouldn't lash out and attack the babies in the strollers.
And some tiny little penguins. Did you know penguins are indigenous to Australia?
The wombat was sleeping so you just get a picture of his back. I've actually seen a lot of wombats here but only as roadkill which is kinda depressing.
No, giraffes are not indigenous to Australia but they are super cool and Moses loved them (he didn't really pay attention to the other animals. Either they were sleeping, or too small or too far away but the giraffes....now that's a different story).
