A few weeks ago Moses decided that he didn't want to sleep at home during the day. He wanted to sleep outside. Specifically he wanted to sleep outside while I was pushing his stroller. I feel that this is both a blessing and a curse. Yes its good for me to walk. We are usually out for an hour or two. However, I would like to take a nap too.
At the beginning of the walk all bundled up against the cold.
Canberra has miles and miles of bike paths. Its nice to walk along and enjoy the changing fall leaves. It's still weird to me that its May and already late fall.
This is Moses about 2 minutes in. Yesterday he fell asleep before we even got to the sidewalk. If I stop walking his eyes pop open in about 2 seconds.
** I'm open to suggestions. Please share your wisdom. I plan to still continue the walks but I need sleep too.**

Maybe a stroller treadmill in your house??
I was going to suggest a baby swing on the porch: fresh air + movement! My kids napped in their swing until 5 or 6 months old...basically until it was hazardous for them to be in there because they were so big and they flailed. (Ida didn't flail because she was swaddled but Theo was a flailer.)
I wondered whether once I made them nap in a crib instead they would stop napping, but the transition wasn't a big deal. I think they both just needed the movement when they were so small.
Hester I love the close up of him sleeping.. his eyelashes are gorgeous!
That's how I used to get Nate to sleep. The bumpier the sidewalk the better.....
