Lots of reasons to give thanks

NUMBER ONE- successfully baking my first turkey. I was a little nervous about it I'm not gonna lie.

NUMBER TWO: Daisy Mom's fantastic turkey recipe. This was instrumental in the first successful turkey bake.

NUMBER THREE: a husband who not only did all the gross parts (who really wants to pull out the gizzards?) but also is pretty fantastic all around.

NUMBER FOUR: other half-american couples that took off school and work to come have dinner at our house. I, of course, passed on candy game tradition. It was a big hit. The main prize was a remote control car- a favorite among the older boys in the crowd.
