My friend Patrice is in Toronto doing an internship there for the summer so I decided to run up for the weekend to say hi to her and also visit my aunt and uncle.
We went on the Maid of Mist, apparently the "thing" to do at the Falls. I was trying to take a good picture of the Canadian side of the falls, the horseshoe falls, but I was also trying to avoid drowning my camera hence the pics are still pretty far away.
My aunt and uncle are mission presidents in Toronto. I had a great time visiting and they were kind enough to put me up in the mission home.
The Bata Shoe Museum. It was quite possibly my favorite thing in Toronto.
The most interesting pair of shoes found at the Bata Shoe Museum. Apparently they were worn by workers at some sort of nut factory.
Dior dress at the Royal Ontario Museum. I have to say, seeing two museums filled with beautiful shoes and dresses definitely made my day.
Downtown Toronto is beautiful!

I think another trip to canada is in order. Later. Or maybe me with no kids. The shoe and dress museums would be awesome. The kids would have loved the boat ride. And you had a lovely blue sky day there!
Glad that you are having fun!
It looks very beautiful there. A vacation there would be so much fun!
Blogging again? It's been so long I quit checking. And look at all I've missed.
Hope you are still in DC when I come to help Eliza in October.
