So I moved into my current apartment February 2007. I starting having ant problems immediately. They were just in the kitchen and entry way. I'd clean everything and Raid it all and the ants would go away for a few weeks. This process has gone on for the last year and it was manageable. However, in the last few weeks the problem has escalated. Before they were only small sugar ants and now there are also red biting ants. Let me tell you.....not such a big fan of the red biting ants. The bites stay red for days and itch like the dickens. On Wednesday they attacked me in the shower and today I got a huge bite of my face (see unattractive photo above). I am now officially declaring war on the ants in my apartment. They have definitely crossed the line.

We have ants here as well but since it is winter, they have decreased in number but are still here. When we go for R&R, maintenance is going to spray the entire outside of the house and hopefully, that will do the trick. Good Luck. AT least you won't have them in Olso.
Kill the ants!!! I hate them too. Sorry they bit you. Do you want me to send you some anti itch stuff?
? ... How does one get bit in the face by an ant while in the shower ? I new that Salmon could swim upstream but can ants do the same?
jamaican ants have skills that's all I can say. blasted creatures.
