Totally freaking out!

(CNN) -- Dean strengthened yet again Friday, with dangerous 145-mph winds officially making it a Category 4 hurricane -- the first of the 2007 Atlantic season.

The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane Dean could head toward Jamaica on Sunday with 150-mph winds.

The storm pounded Caribbean islands and headed toward the Gulf of Mexico.
The latest forecast shows Dean heading toward Jamaica on Sunday, when its winds could reach 150 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.
That's just under the 155-mph threshold that would make it a Category 5, the most intense on the Saffir-Simpson scale of hurricane intensity used by meteorologists. Additional strengthening is expected, and Dean is expected to become a Category 5 storm.

I'm heading off the the north coast tomorrow to help run embassy operations out there. Its sucks being essential staff

You'll do good, we're praying for you. (and everybody else) Stay in the middle of the building. I remember hurricanes from when I was a little boy in Western Samoa. It's so amazing when the eye goes over. And then you get the other side...... I don't know that they measured those storms the same as they do now, I wonder how strong they were. They were bad enough.

I thought about you yesterday and called Betsy to see how you were! I really hope that you are okay and that everything is as good as it could be...considering situations and all.

You are in our prayers as well.

P.S. Post if you get time to let us know how you are.
